AUDIO'S ONLY DEDICATED GEAR AND SOFTWARE TESTING MAGAZINE
Pro Audio Review is the only U.S. professional audio magazine to focus
on product reviews for all major niches, which are covered in their own
exclusive sections: studio, live, contracting/installation, broadcast
production, post-production and project studio. Since 1995, professional
engineers and end-users
have relied on Pro Audio Review's objective gear and software reviews
to help them make their buying decisions.
Pro Audio Review's influence on the professional end-user has made it
the "must advertise" magazine for manufacturers and distributors
who sell products.
REASONS TO ADVERTISE IN PRO AUDIO REVIEW
- Qualified Readership -26,000 + BPA-qualified circulation with targeted
newsstand distribution.
- Readers are in the "Buy Mode" - Nearly 75 percent of Pro
Audio Review readers say they bought a
professional product based on what they read in the magazine.*
- Complete Industry Coverage- Pro Audio Review evaluates equipment and
software in all major pro
audio niches: Studio, Sound Reinforcement, Contracting/Installation,
Broadcast Production, Post-
Production and Project Studio. If pros are using it, PAR reviews it.
- The Best "Product Directory" in the Business - The annual
Pro Audio Review Gear Guide, published
in February, is a comprehensive product directory with thousands of
different listings and specifications,
with more than 20 different categories.
- Amazing Ad Value - Multiple-issue advertisers not only get competitive
ad rates, but a full package
of bonus add-ons, including discounts on review PDFs, reprints, automatic
review posting to
Pro Audio Review's web site, www.proaudioreview.com, and prominent placement
in the annual
Gear Guide.
- Our Writers are Industry Pros - Unlike the majority of feature-based
pro audio magazines, PAR's writers
are pro audio engineers who test the products in a real-world scenario
issue after issue. These
engineers have decades of combined experience making successful recordings,
putting on quality live
shows, producing audio for video or broadcast, or installing gear at
various facilities. Of course, no other
pro audio magazine performs more independent laboratory bench test measurements
than PAR.
Currently, four independent facilities perform testing for PAR.
THE ANNUAL "GEAR GUIDE"' DIRECTORY
PAR's annual Gear Guide issue, published every February, is the largest
product directory in the pro
audio industry. With 6,000+ product listings, engineers rely on the Gear
Guide issue to keep up with
the latest product introductions and specifications. Starting with 2005,
the Gear Guide will have an
enhanced software section. 12X advertisers in PAR automatically get a
free, highlighted photo on pages
where their product descriptions appear.
NEW FOR 2005!
Besides PAR's engineer-written, in-depth reviews, PAR is making several
additions for 2005.
- "Sound Reinforcement" Section - Building on last year's
dedicated Live Sound section, the new "SR"
section will feature more live sound engineer reviews, tour profiles
and equipment roundups.
Long-time engineer Tom Young (Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett) will increase
his review/column schedule
to every issue ... The new section also has marketing synergy with its
European sister title, Audio Media Europe. Audio Media's SR section
reaches the top live sound engineers in continental Europe and the U.K.
U.S. companiescan not only place their ad in PAR for the optimum product
environment for sound reinforcement in the U.S., but also can package
a program for additional U.K. and European reach.
- Installation Spotlight - Installation Spotlight will be featured bi-monthly
in PAR's Contracting/Installation
section and will highlight a notable installation in various regions
across the country. Recent examples
of an Installation Spotlight include a profile of the Hollywood Bowl
with its upgraded sound system.
- DiscWatcher - DiscWatcher is a new monthly feature for the Studio
section, and will profile the gear
and techniques used in recordings released on CD and the latest high
resolution formats, DVD-A and
SACD. The feature will also highlight the technical history of re-releases
of classic recordings.
